01

The challenge

GINLEE Studio is a contemporary womenswear label from designers Gin Lee and Tamir Niv, built on a belief in making fashion that matters. Its pieces are designed with intent — distinctive shapes, considered fabrics and prints that set them apart from the rail — and that is exactly what makes the label hard to sell to a stranger through a phone screen. A designer piece asks a first-time shopper to trust the silhouette, the drape and the sizing without trying anything on, and to see its value against cheaper options that are one tap away. On paid social and search, the label competes for the same style-conscious women as regional marketplaces, international contemporary brands and fast fashion. Left unmanaged, budget drifts toward the cheapest clicks, and the most expensive losses happen late in the journey: shoppers who choose a piece, reach checkout and then leave over delivery costs, sizing doubts or a form that asks too much.

02

The objective

Grow online sales profitably. Success was defined in sales terms: a return on ad spend strong enough to justify putting more budget behind the campaigns; a store that converted a healthy share of the visitors that budget paid for; and more of the shoppers who started checkout actually finishing it. The checkout step was singled out because it sits closest to revenue — every shopper recovered there is an order whose media cost has already been spent — so the campaigns, the product pages and the checkout flow were planned as one system rather than three separate projects.

03

What we did

We ran performance campaigns across Meta and Google Shopping and Search, with a clear job for each channel. Meta handled discovery, using creative that showed the pieces on the body and in movement so a new shopper could read the cut, the fabric and the styling before clicking through. Shopping and Search picked up demand that already existed — searches for the label by name and for the dresses, tops and silhouettes it is known for — with a product feed kept accurate so spend tracked the styles and sizes actually in stock. Retargeting followed product viewers and shoppers who had added to bag, bringing them back to the specific pieces they had shown interest in.

Underneath the paid work we strengthened SEO for the branded and category searches the label should own, so a growing share of shoppers arrived without a media cost attached. On site, the website and conversion optimisation work concentrated on the last steps before purchase: sizing and fit guidance placed where shoppers hesitate, fabric and care details made easy to find, delivery and exchange terms shown before checkout rather than during it, and the checkout itself shortened and simplified so fewer shoppers dropped out at the final screens. Email capture with welcome and abandoned-cart sequences, working alongside retargeting, followed up with shoppers who left before completing an order.

04

The result

Over six to seven months the campaigns returned 3.5–5x on ad spend, the store converted 3.5% or more of its visitors, and the checkout rate rose by 10% — more of the shoppers who reached checkout leaving with an order.
