List of SEO companies in Singapore (2026) — and how to actually choose one

By the team at Singapore Digital Marketing · Updated June 2026 · 7 min read

If you are looking for a list of SEO companies in Singapore, you will find dozens of “top 10” pages — most of them ranked by who paid for the spot. We are an SEO company ourselves, so weigh our view accordingly. But a raw list is close to useless without a way to judge it, so this guide gives you both: well-known SEO companies to be aware of, and a practical framework for picking the right one for your business.

A raw list won’t help you — judge them on this first

The SEO companies that top “best of” lists are not necessarily the best for you. Before contacting anyone, decide how you will compare them. Ask each company:

  1. What will you do in the first month? A clear, specific answer signals competence. Vague reassurance signals the opposite.
  2. How do you report, and how often? You want monthly reporting tied to traffic, rankings and — crucially — enquiries, not impressions.
  3. Can I see case studies with real numbers in my industry? Proof beats promises.
  4. Who actually does the work? An in-house team, or outsourced and white-labelled?
  5. What’s your link-building approach? If they mention buying links in bulk or “thousands of backlinks”, walk away — that risks a Google penalty.

SEO companies in Singapore worth knowing

This is a starting list of established names, described fairly rather than ranked — ranking companies whose work you have not seen would be dishonest. Use the framework above to compare any of them properly.

Singapore Digital Marketing — that’s us. We provide SEO as part of a full-suite offering, built around transparent monthly reporting tied to real business outcomes, with the technical, content and link-building work handled by one in-house team. We suit Singapore SMEs that want SEO connected to the rest of their marketing rather than siloed. See our SEO service.

  • MediaOne — a highly visible, SEO-led agency known for a large library of locally-targeted content and strong rankings of its own.
  • Stridec — focused on SEO and e-commerce growth, with detailed published guides on pricing and methodology.
  • First Page Digital — a large performance agency offering SEO alongside heavy paid-search capability.
  • OOM — a long-established full-service agency with SEO, SEM and web services.
  • Hashmeta — known for social and content, with SEO and AI-marketing services.
  • BThrust — a long-running SEO and web services provider in the Singapore market.
  • Cleverly — an SEO-focused agency offering services including local and Google Business Profile SEO.

There are many more — the market is large. These are simply well-established starting points. Whichever you approach, the five questions above will tell you far more than their position on any list.

Red flags to walk away from

  • Guaranteed #1 rankings. Impossible to promise honestly — Google’s algorithm answers to no agency.
  • Cheap “thousands of backlinks” packages. Bulk links are spam and can get your site penalised. Quality beats quantity, every time.
  • No reporting, or impression-only reporting. If you cannot see rankings, traffic and enquiries, you cannot judge value.
  • Lock-in with no exit. You should own your site, your analytics and your content. Reputable companies do not hold them hostage.
  • Prices that seem too good. Real SEO has real costs; see our SEO cost guide for honest ranges.

Local SEO is its own thing

If your business depends on customers nearby — searches like “near me” or by MRT and neighbourhood — you need a company that does local SEO specifically: Google Business Profile optimisation, citations and Map Pack rankings. It overlaps with regular SEO but is a distinct skill, so ask any company on your list whether they handle it.

Frequently asked questions

Do not pick from the list alone. Shortlist three or four, then ask each the same questions — what they will do in month one, how they report, proof in your industry, who does the work, and their link approach. Pick the clearest, most honest answers. The comparison matters far more than the ranking.

Not necessarily. Size brings resources but can also mean junior staff and account-management layers between you and the work. Smaller teams often give more senior attention. Judge on methodology, transparency and proof, not headcount.

Most professional SEO runs $1,000–$5,000 a month depending on competitiveness and scope, with serious campaigns commonly $1,500–$3,000. Our full SEO cost guide breaks down what drives the price and what is too cheap to trust.

Expect early movement within about 90 days and meaningful results from around month six, as rankings compound. Any company promising page-one rankings in a couple of weeks is either inexperienced or about to risk your site with spammy tactics.
